Antiwedding

Hi all! We are Maria and Sergio, wedding and editorial photographers (among other things) in antiwedding. This adventure begins in Burgos (Spain) and continues all over the world – wherever the couple takes us.
Photography makes us happy. The workflow is basically oriented to get natural images with the best light possible, to try to show a part of every story, and to give our aesthetic point of view.
We started photography shooting film, when there were no digital cameras, and nowadays we still shoot in medium format and 35mm. We often use the Hasselblad 503CW
and (The Tank) Pentax 67 for editorial and personal projects, but our main camera is the Contax 645 and Contax 80mm f/2 Zeiss Planar. Bokeh and tones of this lens are orgasmic.
We love using Fuji Pro 400h
, perfect film with little extra fine grain of texture and great latitude, Kodak Portra 800
and the classic Kodak Tri-X 400
as well.
When traveling always carry the Contax G2
with Contax 28mm f/2.8 Biogon
the fantastic Contax 45mm f/2 Planar
, and Contax 90mm f/2.8 Sonnar
. This combo is autofocus, very light, with the best quality, and valid for any type of trip.
For weddings we have Nikon digital equipment. Nikon D800
bodies and a variety of lenses that allow us to shoot in any situation that we have. We always use prime lenses that allow us to have the best quality.
Depending on the wedding moment, Sergio uses the Nikon 35mm f/1.4 G AF-S
and Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D
and María the Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art
and Nikon 45mm f/2.8 PC-E
, a very special lens with infinite creative options. We usually use flash units separate from the camera, a Nikon SB-910
and Nikon SB-700
that we shoot with PocketWizard Plus II
unit.
We also use a Nikon 16mm f/2.8 AF Fisheye
and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8
when we shoot landscapes, the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II
lens if we need a longer range and a Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR
for details shots.
In lighting equipment also used Elinchrom Ranger RX Speed AS
when we need powerful and 2x Elinchrom Ranger Quadra
to travel light and we have various light modifiers to use as needed.
