My name is Kevin Bruseby. I am a 17 year old landscape and commercial photographer from Sweden. I first discovered my passion for photography back in 2016, and since then I have been fortunate enough to capture many beautiful moments with my camera.

Despite the fact that photography has always been a part of my family’s traditions, it was not until a trip to Switzerland in 2015 that I realized the true value of photography. When my phone – to my disappointment – failed to produce the images I was looking for, I knew I would have to invest in proper gear in order to get the images I wanted.

The following year, I bought myself a Nikon D3300 and a Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 lens, while also trying to learn the basics of photography. Hard work and dedication eventually led me to where I am today.

Apart from the photographic aspect, a goal of mine ever since the beginning has been to make a positive impact on the world through my work.

I have had an interest in meteorology since a young age, and nature has always held a special place in my heart. Therefore, I always make sure to support brands that promote sustainable development.

Camera

Nikon D7500 – This is my main camera body and I currently shoot with it all of the time. It works for all sorts of occasions, and it has all the functions that I need. Since my first camera was a Nikon D3300, it felt very natural to stick to Nikon.

Lenses

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 – In my opinion, this undoubtedly is one of the best lenses available for crop sensor cameras. I have used it for astro, landscape, commercial and portrait photography, and I am always impressed by the images it produces.

When I am shooting subjects such as night skies, the wide aperture also comes in very handy. In conclusion, it is a very versatile lens!

Sigma 105mm f/2.8 – I use this lens for all kinds of occasions too. It works phenomenally, especially for product and portrait photography. The autofocus is quick and precise, and overall the lens feels very well built.

Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 – This was the first lens I bought when getting into photography and to this very day I am still using it. It offers a very wide focal length range while producing decent looking images.

Sigma 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 – I mostly use this lens for wildlife photography and landscape photography. It is a very solid and well-built lens that produces exceptional images.

DJI Mavic Air Fly More Combo Kit – This drone has given me so much freedom in terms of experimenting with different compositions. I use my drone for both my personal photography and for paid photography projects. I also like to use the image stacking technique to get images with higher resolution.

Bags

Manfrotto Advanced Camera Shoulder Bag – I use this compact camera bag whenever I only need to bring at most two lenses. It is very lightweight and works great when I’m out in nature.

Manfrotto Tri Backpack S – Whenever I need to bring more than two lenses, I use this camera bag. It offers a decent amount of space and I use it quite frequently.

Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250 – Whenever I am heading out with just my drone, this is the bag I use. It works very well while also being extremely lightweight and comfortable to carry. I am personally also a big fan of the bag’s overall look.

Tripods

JJC TP-J1 – I bought this tripod before my recent trip to Lapland because of its small size and lightweight. To my surprise, it is extremely sturdy and well built too.

Manfrotto MKELEB5BK Tripod – This is the tripod I have been using for the past year. It is extremely sturdy and does the job just perfectly.

Hardware & Software

I exclusively use Zoner Photo Studio X for all my editing. It is a very well-engineered software that offers all the tools which I need in my workflow. Zoner Photo Studio X allows me to do all sorts of image editing, while also offering lots of other cool and useful functions.

Misc.
