I am a wedding photographer based between London and Kent in the UK. I have been a photographer for 11 years now and have been shooting weddings full time for just over five years.
I’ve always loved photography and after studying architecture in London for three years, I decided to quit and try doing what I love for a living.
An introvert by nature, I started with architectural photography, and slowly, while building my confidence and skills, I started to enjoy photographing people, connections, and feelings.
It’s just so much more rewarding! Eventually, I got asked to shoot my friend’s wedding and the rest is history.
Gear
When looking to buy my first DSLR, I asked my photographer friends what I should go for. And after hearing Canon from everyone, I went for Nikon. Call it reverse psychology.
I shot my first weddings with 2.8 zooms but quickly got tired of their weight and switched to primes (Nikon 35mm f/1.4, Nikon 50mm f/1.4, and Nikon 85mm f/1.4). I quickly fell in love with their bokeh and never looked back, shooting 99% of weddings at f/1.4.
As my style became more and more photojournalistic, I switched to Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4 and Nikon 105mm f/1.4.
Now I shoot 90% of my weddings with Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4 and 10% with Nikon 105mm f/1.4. I only switch to Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 for the couple portraits.
Cameras
Nikon D750: I shot over 200 weddings with two of those by my side and absolutely loved them, good autofocus, great ISO performance, and I love the look of Nikon RAW files. Now I use only one of them with the Nikon 105mm f/1.4 attached.
Nikon Z6: I got it a few months ago to see what all the mirrorless hype was about, and quickly fell in love with it. It is beautifully built and just a joy to use.
The advantage of a silent shutter at weddings and using the touch screen for focus is just amazing, as well as seeing the exposure before taking the photo! I use it with the Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4 attached.
Lenses
Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4: My most used lens, great for documentary approach, especially when getting close to the action.
Nikon 105mm f/1.4: Great when there is more distance between me and the subject and gives the most beautiful bokeh in portraits.
Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4: My go-to lens for couple portraits when shooting wide and also getting close for those more intimate shots, doesn’t have the distortion of the Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4.

Hardware & Software
I use an iMac and Lightroom for all my editing, lovely machine and does the job. For edits, I use my own custom presets.
Final Words
I feel really lucky to be able to support my family doing what I love. It is a great privilege to be able to capture some of the most important days in people’s lives, with an intimate look into who they are and what they stand for.
What I stand for and believe in, is living a life true to myself. A life that is family-oriented, sustainable, and good for the planet and all its inhabitants.
By being mindful and practicing empathy and kindness we can leave this world a better place for us and those who will come after.
