Wedding | Last Updated: April 9, 2024

I am a wedding photographer located in the heart of Transylvania, in Romania, and we photograph weddings in several countries in Europe. Some say that I am the hipster’s photographer, and I’m grateful for that.

I am one of those who believe in creativity as being the first step of problem solving, not having a art diploma.

I am a Nikon fan, thanks to the AF and ISO, and moved a year ago to use my trusted Nikon D3s, Nikon D700, Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR2 and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 in a simple, dual system.

I also use a Nikon Df Black Edition and Sigma 35mm f/1.4, Sigma 85mm f/1.4 for speed and sharpness of focus that I have not experienced before. The AF on the Nikon Df is not as reliable as Nikon D3s, but it’s fine with me. Nikon Df means just one thing: love it or hate it.

Rarely using flash, I photographed a lot of weddings with no flash, but I have two Nikon SB-700 and a great Dedolight Ledzilla lamp, and for some moments I start using Go Pro Hero4 Silver camera.

I think my artistic vision and perspective have improved since using fixed lens, although I did not think that before.

For holidays and other types of frames, using Fujifilm X100s, and I am waiting for a Fuji Full Frame camera to make a move, because WB and AF, the colors are amazing at Fuji.

Next to me is my wife, Daniela, using a Nikon D800 and a Nikon D600, plus a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 and Nikon 85mm f/1.8G, Nikon SB-910 and Nikon SB-700.
