Hello everyone! My name is Adriano Cascio, I’m an Italian street photographer. I was born in Catania in 1967 and I live and work in Rapallo, a small town near Genoa.

I’ve been in photography for over 20 years. My photography experience ranges in various kinds of photography (ceremony and marriage, sport, portrait, naturalism, etc.).

In recent years, I have been deep into street photography and since 2015 I am part of ISP-Italian Street Photography, a project of Italian photographers who love and deal with street photography.

I like to observe people, their looks and their simple everyday gestures that, in the face of a careful goal, can become unexpectedly extraordinary!

I’m convinced that you do not have to live in a big city to do good Street Photography but you must develop the ability to see and to show others that ordinary gets extraordinary even in your own home.

It is important for me to stop what happens at a given moment that, told through photography, will remain legible even in the future.

My street photography sessions are accompanied by my inseparable Fuji X70 camera—compact and light but with “big” performance!

It is a compact digital camera with an 18.5mm f/2.8 Fuji lens (28mm equivalent for street !!), APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, EXR Processor II image processor and a Tactile image display that can rotate 180 degrees to take pictures from top or bottom; Wifi and touch-screen.

Let’s go see my “configuration” for the street:

Camera: Fuji X70 (A great camera for street photography – see others).
Accessories: SD cards, batteries, shoulder bag (not photographic).
Also, I always carry with me a GoPro Hero 4 because it can always be useful.

See you in the street!
