Hi, I am Biran MacLochlainn and I live just outside Dublin in Ireland. I am one of the leading Architectural and Interiors Photographers / Video Makers in Ireland. I specialise in creating stunning images and videos to help businesses connect with their potential clients.

I have taken the efficient workflows used in property photography, added a wonderful eye to pick the right shot and mixed these qualities with the technical know how to make it work. These skills, teamed with the latest and highest quality equipment help produce ambitious and stunning work.

I started working with the Canon cropped sensor dSLRs in 2008 and since then I have started moving towards more demanding and technical photography. this resulted in a move to 35mm or full frame dSLRs, first with the Canon 5d mk2 and now I use either the Canon 6d or the Canon 5d mk3.

I generally have two bags with me, my main bag contains Cameras, Lenses and some accessories while my small bag contains 7 strobes.

The Cameras I always bring are:

Canon 5d mk3

Canon 6d

The lenses are:

Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L mkII

Canon TS-E 17mm f/4.0 L

Carl Zeiss Otus 55mm f/1.4

Canon 135mm f/2.0 L

Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L MKII

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0

Canon Extender EF 1.4x mk3

The Flashes are a Canon 430 ex, 3 Nikon Sb80’s and 3 Nikon Sb800’s

I almost always shoot tethered using the CamRanger (v2 here)and the iPad or iPad mini.
Additional cameras include a Canon 20d, Canon 300d, Canon 1000d and a GoPro. While there is also sound and video equipment as well as filters in my bag.

I sometimes use a Lowel GL1 Power LED light.

For my architectural and interiors work my main lenses are the Tilt Shift lenses, sometimes I also use the extender to give me roughly a 35mm TS lens. I also like to bring in the Zeiss Otus, it creates images with an incredible feel.
