We work with two cameras each, and among all the lenses we have, we shoot almost all of the weddings with 35mm. We use the 35mm because it allows us to photograph a wedding in a documentary style that creates a story.
We usually shoot with natural light, however for creative photographs and evening parties we may use flash.
Inside Damiano and Donatella’s camera bag:
2011 was a year of great change for us. We got married and decided to embark on our work together. After our honeymoon trip to the United States, photographing fabulous places, we moved to London for two months to improve our technique and to acquire personal photographic vision. We returned to Italy and started this adventure together, specializing in wedding photography with a photojournalist approach as we like to tell stories in a non-intrusive and real way.
Today we are two professional photographers recognized by the most important international associations.
We love our work and we are proud of our journey. We are excited to photograph marriages in Tuscany, throughout Italy and around the world.
The last few years we have received a lot of recognition and have met many people. We have photographed people from different traditions, customs, religions, beliefs, and skin colors, straight couples and same-sex couples.
We hope to continue in this way, improving year after year and growing together as a working couple, but above all, in life. We are happy to have believed in our dream and experience it everyday.
