I am a romantic and sensitive artist who has terrible English but loves to take pictures of people. Even better if it is a wedding.
I love weddings because at these events I can see happy people, hear good music and eat very well, but the most important thing is that at weddings I can take a lot of different kinds of photos, for example:
- Photojournalism: I must capture all moments at the wedding and tell the story with images.
- Portraits: Of course, the bride and groom want good pictures of themselves.
- Product photography: You know, rings, wedding dresses, bride’s bouquet, shoes and even the buffet food.
- Fashion photography: Yeah!! Many beautiful girls attend weddings and they are very happy to be my models when I pass with my camera.
- Landscape photography: Good pictures of the venue are important too.
Anyway, a wedding is a party where the people celebrate LOVE and I am a fervent believer of love.
I love to be a lifestyle photographer too because I try to find and capture the subject’s way of being. For this, I think that the subjects must not pose – they must be themselves.
I take my pictures with my Heart, my Soul and my Mind. For that, I use my eyes, but pitiful technology has not advanced so much that it can directly print the images in my mind; for that reason, I need to use my cameras and other gear.
Cameras
Canon EOS 70D
Canon EOS 60D – This was my first camera when I decided to become a professional and it still accompanies me until now.
Full frame? Coming soon…
DJI Mavic Air Drone – I would love to fly but I can’t.
Lenses
Canon 10-22mm f/3.-4.5 – I use this lens to take pictures of the venue and wedding rooms.
Canon 50mm f/1.8 – I love it for portraits.
Canon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 – I use this lens during ceremonies because I don’t want to miss anything and I don’t have time to change lenses.
Canon 24mm f/2.8 – I love the image quality of this lens. It is better than my Canon 18-135mm and I use it for group pictures.
Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 – I use this lens at parties, after the ceremony, when I want to capture guest moments. People often pose when they see a camera in front of them; for that reason, I prefer to be a little far away with this lens.
Lights/Triggers
YongNuo speedlite YN565ex – I use this flash off-camera when I want to make some light effects.
YongNuo Speedlite YN568EX II – I love this flash because it has fast synchronization. I often use this flash on-camera.
YongNuo RF-603C II – Wireless flash trigger.
Tripods
Manfrotto 16in-59in Tripod
Small Tripod: Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod (MTPIXI-B)
Hardware & Software
Lightroom – I use this software to convert the RAWs into JPGs and to edit lighting. For my weddings, this software is usually enough.
Photoshop – To edit Portraits.
Power Director – I use this software to make “behind the camera” videos and to make SlideShows.
Misc.
Business cards – Very important to get new customers or new followers on Instagram – or to get phone numbers of the beautiful girls that attend the weddings.
Happiness and good attitude
I love to be a wedding photographer and I am always looking for ways to improve.
