We are Moscow-based Galina and Gennadiy, and have been working together as an artistic tandem for more than fifteen years. Brought together by our destinies, we created a common vision of our work, complementing each other and working as a team.
Working in harmony as a couple, we have developed a unique perspective on wedding photography – our style subtly blends a feminine outlook on life with a masculine view of the world.
We choose to use Canon 1 series cameras for their reliability and high image quality. Also, of great importance is focusing speed, high battery capacity, and a large comfortable grip for the hand.
Since we are always shooting together, it is very important that the whole shoot is taken on cameras which are the same model – this simplifies the editing process.
We used prime lenses for most of our career; however, after the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II was released with its excellent optical characteristics, we ended up shooting the most with this lens.
We often use Profoto compact generator flashes at the reception, as the available light usually too dark for us to get high quality images without some form of light.
