I am passionate photographer based in Sydney, Australia who specialises in weddings/events, portrait & landscapes. I also manage a broad range of thriving communities online, where I share a variety of content to over 80,000 members. I have been shooting with Sony cameras from day one. I find them to be the best technology to produce the quality I want for my work. I started out using the Sony compact digital cameras, and when I wanted to take my photography to the next level I purchased the a57 and a37. Now I currently own the Sony a7R III, Sony a7S II and a7 III.

My main go-to set up for portraits will be the a7R III and the 85mm f/1.4 GM. That is one of my favourite combos for portraits alongside the Godox AD600 Pro or the AD200 depending on the location I am shooting at. I will use either my 27inch beauty dish or the 48inch octa box on my Selens boom light stand. The size of modifier I use will come down to what type of light I want on my subject.

For landscapes, my set-up will be the Sony a7R III and the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 AF, which I have always found to be the best focal length for the type of shots I capture. I do occasionally use the 35mm f/1.4 for landscapes depending on the composition. I mount them on my Benro FGP 28C tripod with 3-way head.

For weddings and events I will use my a7R III and either the a7III or a7S II, depending on whether I want to take advantage of the high ISO.

I tend to use natural light, but if light is not the best, I will use my Godox v860II along with my Magmod products. The Magmod products help me achieve more controlled flash during my events. During location shots I will use my AD200 for extra power with Magmod grid or sphere, which is easy to carry around and gets great results.

For my YouTube videos, I use the a7S II or the a7 III with the 35mm f/1.4. I use the RodeLink mic to give me the best sound.
