Hi, I’m Jacob, a wedding photographer based in Singapore.

Photography started off as a hobby with my first camera being the Nikon D5500.

I then saw a potential to go professional when I had the opportunity to photograph my friend’s wedding, and I jumped into a full-frame Nikon D810, as it would do a greater job then a crop-sensor camera.

With my second official wedding, I realised my passion for photography and decided to make the jump and peruse photography as a career.

The first year of going professional, I used a Nikon D810 along with a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 and a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8.

Over the months, I developed my own style of documenting special moments and decided to adopt the photojournalism way of shooting.

During my second year, I sold off all of my lenses to make a switch from zoom to prime lenses. Now that I shoot with 2 bodies, Nikon D810 and Nikon D750, my go-to lenses are Nikon 35mm f/1.8 and Nikon 85mm f/1.8.
