Massimiliano Magliacca

Hi, I’m Massimiliano. I have a wife and 2 children and I’m a wedding photographer in Italy. My passion for photography was transmitted to me by my father as he was a photographer too. I observed him during his job and I was attracted to all his equipment.

At the age of fourteen he gave me a Nikon FM and from that moment I started to photograph everything around me. After various experiences in the field of reportage and fashion I decided to open a photo studio called “Nabis Photographers”. In 1998 I started a career as a wedding photographer, which soon became my primary job. Currently I am a partner in the study with the talented Chiara Ridolfi.

The equipment I usually use for my services:

Nikon D5 x 2
I love these machines because they give you the chance to work for hours without ever failing a shot. This is a very important thing for the photographers.

Nikon 105mm f/1.4
I use this lens especially in the photographic section of the photo-couple outdoor. I think this is one of the best lenses conceived by Nikon both in terms of clarity both in terms of bokeh.

Nikon 58mm f/1.4
Excellent lens. I use 58 mm for 70% of the wedding. It’s a focal length that I really like because I consider it very versatile.

Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8
Simply the best wide angle I’ve ever used.

Sigma 24-35mm f/2.0
I purchased this lens recently. Before this I had the Nikon 35mm f/1.4, a marvelous lens. I replaced it with the Sigma simply to have a wider angle.

Profoto A1 x 2
The beauty of these flashes is the temperature of light and the fast charging. They are 2 essential elements for a wedding and fashion photographer. I use the Profoto together with their accessories: Grid + Bounce + Filters.

As for the straps, I use Hold Fast Money Maker for my services. I think that the Holdfast are the best in circulation.
