Hello! We are ProudRad!
We’re wedding photographers based in Manila, Philippines. We’ve been in the industry for almost 5 years, capturing weddings locally and internationally.
We describe our style as modern wedding photography. Cinematic and creative, always aiming to capture the real, honest and fleeting moments of the day.
We normally shoot with lights, shadows and symmetry (see guide), yet allowing the emotions of our clients to still shine through. Every wedding is different, that’s why we always challenge ourselves to seek and create rebellious but authentic photographs without limits and boundaries.
Our gear:
It’s been 2 years since we tried this one and we’re really loving the responsive autofocus system, and the crisp sharpness that it can produce. We also like the silent shooting mode. It is light and you can easily carry it wherever you go.
CANON EOS 1DX MARK II
If we had to compare this camera to something, we’d compare it to a tank. This camera may be a bit heavy, but it is fast and efficient. It can shoot up to 16 frames per second. We never miss a moment when we use this. Another thing that we like here is that its file sizes are not that big.
CANON EOS MARK IV
This camera is also quick and responsive without any lags. We love using this because of its dynamic range and high ISO performance, especially when we’re shooting in places without enough ambient light.
Sony 50mm f/1.4 & Canon 50mm f/1.4
For portraits, family photos and tight shots without distortions.
Sony 35mm f/1.4 & Canon 35mm f/1.4
35mm lenses are always tricky ‘cause they have a little distortion on all sides. We use these lenses to create shots with full compositions.
Canon 85mm f/1.2
We use this for capturing reactions.
For detail shots like rings, jewellery, watches, etc.
For top shots
Petzval
For more creative shots, we can also control how blurry we want the background to be.
Stay proud and rad! Thank you ShotKit for this opportunity!
