    I remember hearing a photographer saying this funny one, and I liked it:

    “Life is too short to see someone you love in bad lighting”

    (adorama youtube channel but forgot the photographer’s name)

  • Several years ago when digital photography was revving up, I attended a conference on news photography. One of the speakers, whose name I regrettably do not remember, opened his remarks by saying, “Never before have so many bad pictures been made so well.” Kinda still applies, I think, only exponentially! :)
