I’m Yana, a portrait photographer based on the sunny Spanish coast.

I got into photography quite unexpectedly while helping a friend with her bachelor’s thesis.

I’ve always been a creative kid, but the idea of creating art with a camera truly fascinated me, and from that moment on, there was no turning back.

My main camera is the Sony A7 III, and I honestly can’t imagine a better match for me. It’s lightweight, modern, and incredibly reliable.

I love how customisable it is, switching between shooting settings takes just a quick turn of the dial.

Beyond all the technical features, it simply feels amazing in my hands. I’m a very tactile person, so that connection really matters to me.

The Sony A7 III paired with the Sony Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 is, for me, the perfect duo. The depth of field from my prime lens is incredible, ideal for portrait photography.

I adore how clean, soft, and smooth my images look every time.

For more atmospheric and wide shots, I always bring my Sigma 16–28mm f/2.8. It creates a beautiful sense of space and adds drama to the frame. Wide shots look absolutely stunning with this lens.

There’s no portrait photography without great lighting, and I always come prepared.

The Godox V1S pairs beautifully with my camera; it’s easy to use, has excellent battery life, and adds such beautiful depth and dimension to my images.

I love how portable it is, making it perfect for both studio and on-location shoots.

The Godox MS300 studio kit is another favourite of mine. It’s perfect for bold, complex lighting setups and gives endless creative freedom.

Turning simple ideas into professional-looking results with it is truly exciting.

When I want to add subtle creative accents, I use The Lighter PRO. It’s a small yet powerful light that lets me shift between warm and cold tones, adding mood, texture, and a cinematic touch to my photos.

As a photographer, I love experimenting, especially with myself. For self-portraits, I always use the Victiv NT70 tripod. It’s lightweight, stable, and easy to carry everywhere, which makes it ideal for spontaneous shoots.

I also enjoy constantly learning new things, and my first steps into cinematography have been a great experience thanks to the DJI RS 3 Mini Gimbal. It’s ultra-light, easy to balance, and makes camera movement smooth and effortless.

A special mention goes to my Instax Mini 11. I love leaving a small printed photo as a gift for my models right after a photoshoot.

The emotions you see when you give something so small yet so meaningful are absolutely priceless.
