It can work for both individuals and teams, and I found it very simple to work with, so even those who are brand new to the world of AI image editing and generation should feel comfortable using this tool.

Here’s a closer look at what it’s capable of.

I tested it out personally and was pleased to see just how simple and intuitive the process was, right from step one through to the final results.

First, upon logging in and starting the generation process, BetterPic asked me to choose between individual headshots or shots for an entire team or company.

After selecting headshots for one person, the platform prompted me to enter basic details, including my name, ethnicity, the intended use of the photos (I could select up to three use cases), and my eye color.

After making my selections and saving my style, BetterPic went on to ask me to sign up for a premium package, as there are no free trials or free plans available with this tool.

From there, it was simply a case of uploading my photos (the platform demands a total of eight selfies to produce the most accurate results) and letting BetterPic do its thing.

The whole process is remarkably easy, which is one of my favorite things about this platform.

While it’s not as fast as certain AI image generators that can produce pictures from text prompts in a matter of seconds, it still promises to provide results in less than an hour, every time, but only if you pay for the Pro plan.

Users who opt for the cheaper options may have to wait up to two hours. Personally, I waited around 90 minutes for my photos to appear.

Given the quality of the pictures this tool produces, it’s easy to see why it needs those extra minutes to ensure that everything is just right.

In my testing, I didn’t find any visual inconsistencies or abnormalities in the results; my pictures were incredibly clean, true-to-life, and professional-looking.

Once all the pictures were finished, I was free to download the full batch of 20 (you can pay extra for additional photos, if you like) or use BetterPic’s AI editing tools to customize them, which leads me to the next section.

In general, I found that the photos BetterPic produced were, for the most part, more than good enough for me to simply download to my device and start uploading to my LinkedIn page.

However, the platform does offer quite in-depth editing tools, too, letting you customize your pictures to your liking if anything isn’t quite as you imagined or wanted.

The editing options include:

I played around with most of these features and found that they all, generally, worked as well as one would hope and expect.

It’s quick and easy, in particular, to make changes to elements like background and outfit, so if you selected an outfit during the initial generation phase but change your mind later on, you can easily swap to a different one without any hassle.

Again, as with the photo generation process, it’s worth noting that some of these edits do take time to apply.

It’s also important to say that these features are mainly useful for making minor alterations, rather than large-scale adjustments, so don’t expect to be able to change your photos in major ways.

Security is one of the most concerning elements of the many AI platforms that are emerging these days, and one of the big questions I always ask before using a tool like this is: How safe is it?

BetterPic isn’t for everyone, but for those who would find it difficult to get professional-level headshots the conventional way, it’s an ideal choice.

It’s also a good match for those who want to exude professionalism but may not necessarily have the most professional attire, like people working from home or in other casual settings.

It’s ideal for small to mid-sized business teams, too, though larger businesses may simply prefer to hire a photographer instead.

The ease-of-use of BetterPic makes it an attractive proposition for non-technical users. So, even if you’re not too familiar or experienced with AI platforms, you can still get great results with this tool.

At the same time, it’s worth noting that, for all its quality and accessibility, BetterPic isn’t perfect. It won’t produce the same standard of pictures as you would get from a reliable, professional photographer.

Overall, I can recommend BetterPic to anyone who wants high-end headshots at an affordable price.

It does have some downsides. The editing tools are a little light, and the processing times can be a little frustrating in a world where we’re used to getting almost immediate results, on demand.

Those minor issues aside, I have nothing but praise for this platform. It’s sleek, secure, efficient, and effective, producing top-notch pictures with only minimal effort required on the part of the user.
